Dear friends, we are happy to announce that from July 27, 2020 the Museum of Political History of Russia will open again its doors to visitors!
Now we are preparing for the opening and doing everything to ensure that the stay in the museum will be safe. When you visit the museum, we will ask you to observe the measures necessary to protect your health:
√ Visitors must wear a mask and gloves (available at the museum's ticket office if necessary). You can also use hand sanitizers in the museum.
√ The number of visitors in the rooms will be limited - a maximum of 70 visitors may be present at a time. Pre-recordings are not required. Tickets will be sold at the museum ticket office, online sales are not yet available.
√ The time of stay in the museum will be limited to two hours.
√ Visitors will be asked to follow specially designed routes while going around the museum. This will help to maintain a physical distance and avoid counterflow of visitors.
√ Use disposable gloves to explore the interactive elements on the exhibition.
√ A tour can be booked as an individual tour or for family groups of up to 5 people. The date and time of the excursion must be reserved by tel. (812) 233-70-52 or by e-mail to politdispetcher@mail.ru (entry will start on 27 July).
√ The audio guides will be disinfected after each use.
For the opening of the museum a new exhibition "Like-minded people. Opponents. Enemies. To the 150th anniversary of Vladimir Lenin and Peter Struve". The exhibition "Anti-Fascist satirical graphics of the Second World War" will also be available.

Please note the branches "Children's Museum Center of Historical Education" on Bolotnaya 13, and "Gorokhovaya 2. History of political police and state security bodies of Russia. XIX-XX cc." as well as the branch "Children's Historical Museum" (Kuibysheva St., 2-4) are closed. We will inform you about the opening additionally.
