The exhibition «Always be ready» opened
On May 19, 1922 at the 2nd National Conference of the Russian Communist Youth Union, it was resolved to establish pioneer units across the country. This day considered as the birthday of the pioneer organization.
The exhibition “Always be ready!” presents unique photographs and documents related to the history of the pioneer organization, its founders and leaders. Visitors will see the main symbols of the pioneers - the tie, the badge, musical instruments, and learn about their ideological significance and symbolism. A separate section of the exhibition tells how The State Museum of the Great October Socialist Revolution (now The State Museum of Political History of Russia) solemnly accepted into the pioneers.
The exhibition is open until June 6 in the atrium.
