The exhibition “The Word Belongs to the President of the Council of Ministers!”

160 years ago Peter Stolypin was born - one of the most famous statesmen in the national history of the early twentieth century. To commemorate this anniversary, an exhibition opened in the museum's atrium titled “The Word Belongs to the President of the Council of Ministers!”

The title of the exhibition in pre-revolutionary spelling reproduces the invitation to Stolypin to take the podium for a speech, preserved by the transcripts of the sessions of the State Duma of the Russian Empire. The exhibits reveal the main milestones of Stolypin's life. Fragments of the Duma speeches, photographs and caricatures from the early 20th century help understand the stages of the hero's remarkable political biography.

The exhibition is open until April 27 in the atrium.
